[Husker] Fans

I think it goes without saying there is an idiot born every minute.  The
actions of the few are now being used to gauge the fan base of all Husker
fans.  I will give you that the idiots are the most noticeable; they usually
are in any social setting.  I propose that most Husker fans are still the
best fans in the nation and that our idiots are the best idiots in the
nation. <g>

     I have at times on this list questioned if Husker fans are indeed the
     greatest fans anywhere.  I have been told that indeed they were in no
     uncertain terms.  It has also been said it indeed is a "fact" they are
     the best fans anywhere.  Actually, my statement has always been they

     fans like anywhere else no better and no worse.  I believe the current
     coaching "crisis" has revealed just that. I enclose an article from
