Now the interesting question is how this affect Pelini. The 
conventional wisdom is that Les Miles will be the #1 candidate for 
Michigan. Miles's contract has UM as an exception, where is he leaves 
LSU for UM, there is no buyout/repayment from Miles. So obviously he 
has strong feelings for UM. With his record at LSU, you have to assume 
the feelings are mutual. 

So, if Miles goes to UM, would LSU promote within ? Have to give that 
strong consideration. Coming off of the year LSU is having, there 
certainly would be no shortage of candidates, but promoting Pelini 
would certainly keep the system on track.
