[Husker] Blaine Gabbert

Blaine Gabbert (UNCLASSIFIED)Today, one of the guys who works in my building stopped me in the hallway, as he knew I was a Husker fan.  His son and Blaine Gabbert are very good friends.  In fact, they played opposite of each other in the ESPN broadcast that Blaine was supposed to play in (but had hurt his shoulder).  I guess he was really upset that he couldn't play in that game, but was very proud that he was going to Nebraska...apparently he very seldom took off his Huskers cap.

At any rate, Blaine was really tore up about changing his commitment from Nebraska to Missouri.  He felt bad, because he really wanted to play for Callahan and run the WCO.  He transferred because he was afraid that Osborne would bring in someone with an option style offense.

My coworker also stated that Blaine was a very good kid.  I guess his dad has been trying to help keep his spirits up.  

Makes me kind of wonder...even if Callahan gets fired, do you think the Shawn Watson will stay on?  If so, do you think Blaine Gabbert would reverse his decision and re-commit to the Huskers?
