[Husker] Lucky Mastering the System

Just saw a quote from Coach Callahan in the Lincoln paper. When talking about Marlon Lucky, he states that "For a junior, (he) has just mastered the system, and not only from the aspect of receiving and running." I know there has been discussion at length about Callahan's various comments, what did he actually say, what did he mean, what was the context...but in light of his other comments defending the offensive system against those that call it too complex, why would it be so significant that a third year player has mastered the system? Is it a system that you wouldn't truly expect to be mastered until a player is in his senior year? Is this typical? I know the old option game was more complicated than most people realized, and I have no idea how long it took to master it.

Just curious - not trying to stir up any trouble!
