While there are numerous examples of coaches who enjoyed success at both levels, I believe there are far less examples of coaches who 'cut their teeth' so to speak in the pros first, THEN saw success in college.

I agree with everything you wrote. And I note that you wrote "probably" in
this prediction. I would just add the specific caution that Nebraska has a
good chance IF Cosgrove uses a pressure defense. You just never know with
him, how he might screw up our Husker hopes.
And a note to Skylar: I don't recall that Walsh did very well in college.
That's why he stayed such a short time at Stanford and went back to the 49er
organization. I agree with your main argument. I just don't think this
example belongs on your list.
