Is it really "honorable"? I think a case could be
made that Callahan's continued presence is NOT helping
them, and in fact is damaging this team. (After all,
how many times this season have you said "I think
they've hit bottom"..only to have things get worse...)
I don't know the mental framework of this team, but
deep down, I really have to wonder if the players on
the team wouldn't say "thank God he's gone!" after he
leaves. They naturally can't say that now, and if he
departs, would eliminating him and the distraction of
resignation talk help this team?
