[Husker] Coaches Kids getting Harrassed

Wow, that comment says a lot about the person saying it, not the "kids that deserve it."
Which ones "deserve it?" The child molesters, the rapists, the murderers? Surely not the kids who gave five years of their life trying to live up to the standard for Huskers players. Some with "all-conference" recognition no less.
Are YOU a better player than they are? I'm guessing not. In fact, I'm guessing that anyone who really played the game wouldn't boo the players at all. They might feel disappointed at the coaching or the recruiting or the strength development of the players, but not the players themselves.
I've had communication with a member (of this board) of the extended Ruud family who said that Barrett Ruud owes his records and skills to the coaching of Bo Pelini. Bo Ruud didn't have that advantage, so even tho he is faster than Barrett, his level of play at UNL isn't as high. So should we boo Bo because his coaches weren't as good? Or McKeon even tho he is one of the UNL career tackle leaders? Or Tierre Green who was willing to play four positions in four years, and started in three because he didn't "master" any of the positions? Or Octavian because he didn't live up to our expections? How about Brandenburg, Eisenberg or Wilson who were willing to walk on but didn't always displace the scholarship starters? Keller for not meeting expectations that we set for him because he only had one year in the system?
The D played poorly this year, but I don't think it was lack of skill or effort, but lack of a solid scheme. Don't boo the players for that.
Sue, right now I'm disappointed in your parents that they didn't raise you better than to boo.
