Not everyone who has a Christian (or other) faith talks frequently
about their faith. Ron Brown does so more than Bill Calllahan. Some
people, not Ron Brown, talk alot about faith but don't show that it has
much to do with their lives. Others don't talk much about religion,
but it guides their lives.
I can say, from personal experience and the testimony of many others,
that in times of trial, such as Callahan is surely experiencing, people
tend to rely on their faith and talk about it more than at other times.
Although you haven't explicitly called into question Callahan's faith
and although I am in no position to say whether there is a basis for
such questions, I can say that since the Callahans moved to Lincoln
his family goes to the same church as my family and that his daughter
attends the same Christian school as my daughter.
