Many good points, especially concerning the walk on, and strength programs. 
I shuddered when I heard that the walk on program was being "cut back, (not 
eliminated)". It seemed that the walk on program was what gave us an 
advantage over the more populated states for years. That is one of the 
"Traditions" that I believe has been missing since SP arrived. You also 
touched upon the "physicality" aspect, and I believe we are lacking in that 
respect also. Boyd Epley built quite a program, and when he was replaced in 
2002, it seemed like things started to slide then.... and of course, these 
are only my opinions...
