By my calculations (using
http://web1.ncaa.org/d1mfb/natlRank.jsp?year=2007&div=4&rpt=IA_teamscordef&site=org)

Nebraska's defense is now giving up an average of 35.9 points/game.
This should put NU at 107th in Division 1-A when the stats are
re-tabulated next week. They are also now giving up 477.6 yards/game,
which should put them around 110. The only BCS team with a worse
defense is Minnesota, and there are only a handful of minor-conference
teams with worse performances.

Don't be shocked to see them end up dead last. This defense is not
mediocre or merely bad. They are awful. Earlier in the season, I said
this is easily the worst defense in my lifetime. At this point, I'm
going to say it is the worst defense in the history of NU's program. I
can't imagine that any NU defense has ever given up nearly 36 points a
game.
