     Correct me if I'm wrong which I very well may be.  It is my 
understanding one needs permission from the applicable school to talk to 
any coach under contract at the time the contact is made.   It would be  
an unusual set of circumstances that a school would grant permission to 
another school to talk to one of their coaches during the season.  If in 
fact that is the case TO couldn't begin a search until after the season 
anyway.  I am sure if indeed Callahan is gone TO has an idea which 
direction he is going as far as Head Coach.
