I think you lose. NU threw a late touchdown pass against Arizona State 
in 1995 - the last TD in a 77-28 game, IIRC. That one inspired a 
complaint from Bruce Snider (he also used it to motivate his team in the 
following year's shutout). And the trick play called by Solich in the 
Alamo Bowl against Northwestern would qualify in my book, though it 
doesn't quite meet your criteria (it was late in the 3d with a 35-point 
lead, again IIRC).
