[Husker] Please Make It Stop

Im not sure my comments were a complaint about running up the score, just that the defenses of old would not have allowed it because they would've sold out and played better.

But that said, I'd like to see some film of Osborne/Solich-coached teams passing the ball up by 30 with a half a quarter left. I'm willing to bet you wont find any. If you can't stop the running plays (which is what Osborne used to do to "run it up"), fine, but throwing 15 yard outs and quick slants is unecessary at that stage of a game. One of these games the starting QB is going to blow out an ACL and then maybe people will see the real reason why it's stupid to do. Not a complaint, but its a fact. And to be honest, I was hoping KU ran it up so these incompetent coaches would resign at halftime.

Not true. TO and Solich used to run it up all of the time When Solich was trying to get Crouch the Heisman, he left him a lot when the game was out of reach (for the other team.

It's sad as Husker fans we have resorted to complaining about the other team running up the score.

You know, in the past, NU has run up big scores, but
they never left their starters in this long. This is
so classless of KU.
