If nothing else, run the ball a few times to keep the clock rolling and kill this imposter disguised as Nebraska football!  Mighty Kansas puts 76 on us with the possibility to break 80?  My oh my!  Not much left to say after this.  Don't wait, Dr. Tom, announce the firing now and let BC finish out the season if that is all that can be done.  No way he can come back after this fiasco.

OMG - Helu carries the ball for about 20!  On a running play?  Uh oh, two in a row!  Run that clock baby!

I've been thinking, with all the criticism of the coaching going on here (99% of it founded), at some point in this quagmire the freaking players have to take it upon themselves to step up and do something about this. I don't care how good Kansas is or how bad the NU defense is, these players should be going absolutely apesh&&t on the sidelines, and they are not.

What a joke this season has turned into, and it seems like no one with any ability to do something about it (coaches, players) gives a rat's arse.

Imagine what Tomich, Peter & Wistrom and crew would be doing on the sidelines if they were losing 69-31 to Kansas in the 3rd quarter.

48 points allowed in the first half... the shanked
extra point meant that Callahan's worst half record
stays intact.  (49 points in the 2nd half at Tech)

No running plays called in the 2nd quarter by
Callahan.  0.  Nada.

Our defense is getting roasted...and we didn't try to
run the ball ONCE???
