Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I certainly respect
yours. However, I can't think of anything that was posted by me or
anyone that should have made one bristle. It is not complaining or
whining when I said they are virtually out of the playoff picture. That
is simply fact. They are in that position. They are not officially out
but they are effectively painting themselves into the proverbial
corner. I also believe something is wrong in the program. I think that
is very realistic. My expectations for the team this year wasn't CWS.
I figured it would be a little bit of rebuilding year. I thought we
could contend for the Big 12 regular season title, make a good showing
in the Big 12 tournament, and with some luck and good play possibly make
our way into a super regional. I didn't believe the Huskers would be
fifth with a below .500 conference mark. To that end I AM a little
disappointed.

Now we have gone full cycle. How I feel the team has performed or
what else I feel about the team has nothing to do with whether I support
the team or not or affects my enjoyment. I certainly am proud of the
program and remember it wasn't all that long ago the games were at the
Buck with maybe 100 people attending. I have never believed that to
be a fan and support means you can't tell it like it is or at least as
one believes it is.
