I will agree Bob, the wheels are coming off a bit. I will say though, their
postseason chances are far from over. If they lose both of these last two
series, then yes. By the way they played last night, there's not much hope
of winning either.
Most projections still have them as a traveling 3 seed in a regional. That
being said, winning the last two series would just about lock that up. If
they can't win these two (against the two worst teams in the league) then
they will pretty much be done.
It seems pretty clear that Anderson has lost these kids and they aren't
playing pretty lackluster at this point. Too bad for a season with some
pretty high hopes. I'm not saying I expected championship, but I thought
for sure we'd host a regional and probably go on the road for the Super.
Oh well, in the words of every Cubs fan, maybe next year.

It would seem the Huskers post season goose was pretty much cooked
at Haymarket Park last night. The Huskers lost 9-2 and it really seemed
worse than that. I am not sure what the problem is this year. It just
seems they are vastly underachieving. This is not the greatest team Nu
has ever had but they should be playing better than they are.
