Doesn't it seem odd that fans are clamoring for information regarding events these staff members do not seem willing to disclose? Dropping a topic like this until the associated parties feel like discussing the particulars seems like a complete no brainer to me, yet it goes on and on and on and on...

Actually, there are two assistants who coached under both coaches, Gill and Downing.  Both left on their own accord, Downing for a bigger job at a smaller school, while Gill left without a job in hand, but ended up as a D1A head coach.  Unfortunately, I don't think you can draw any conclusions from this and I doubt either will respond openly.

I, for one, would be more interested in hearing from former players who
played BOTH under BC and FS.  Unfortunately there ARE NO assistants who
coached under both regimes!
