     The only place I have heard this being a "make or break" season for 
Callahan is on this list and among a few fans.  I have never heard Pederson 
say it or even allude to the possibility.  I really have no reason to 
believe this is a "make or break" season.  I see you said "if".  But, why do 
we think it even might be?  Other than Callahan's first year the team has 
shown improvement each year.  In 2006 NU won the Big 12 North, won 9 games, 
went to the conference championship game, and went to a bowl game and played 
a respectable Auburn team to within three points.  I realize everything 
isn't as it was 10 years ago but at this point in time I don't really see 
any reason Callahan's job should be on the line.  I don't think firing 
Ostergard is enough to send a Head Coach packing.
