[Husker] Let's Put it this Way....

Good Morning:

I believe that if Callahan departs under any condition other than being hired away from NU to the pros or retiring (which he will not do at Nebraska), then Pederson's days at Nebraska will be numbered too. Callahan is Pederson's guy (even if he was the second, third, fourth - whatever choice he was) and was anointed as the guy that will turn this thing around and return us to "greatness" and trounce the Texans and Oklahomans. So far we've lost to Texas once, Oklahoma three times and called them " f****** hillbillies" to boot, this isn't a good start. The jury is seriously out on Callahan in fact I think this upcoming season will be the make or break season for Callahan. If the wheels fall off in Lincoln it will be interesting to see how Pederson handles a Callahan termination, not to mention how we'll even pay for it.

Generally I don't do this but here's my prediction for this coming season 7-5 or 8-4 we'll go to a bowl game and I'm not even going to guess who we'll play or whether we'll win, lose or draw.

As far as Fort Pederson (aka Osborne Office Building) goes an earlier post hit the nail on the head, no one gets in w/o approval (even donors), the only one with carte blanche is JR (not Ewing).
