I have to agree with others who took these comments to task.
"Osborne would have been a horrible athletic director. "
Osborne was a good, no great, football program leader, an adequate (or better?) leader of the country as Congressman, but can't do something in between? I'm guessing you are way off base here. He's smart enough, experienced enough . . .Why wouldn't he be an excellent AD?
"Pederson has brought an excellent football coach"
Is he a current assistant??? Oh, you mean our 22-15 head coach? Hmmmmm.
"unfathamable recruiting talent"
Perhaps I misheard the recruiting class rankings during BC's tenure. And if recruiting class rankings were the answer, the '95 Huskers ended up ranked somewhere around 30th. And this year's Huskers will end up between #10 and #15 at the end of the year. Of course, that WOULD be an improvement.
"a basketball coach that will make an immediate imapct in the Big 12"
I like what I have seen from Sadler, but we need to win our next two games to finish outside the bottom three in the conference. Is that an "immediate impact?" I liked Collier for the first few years too.
and we've already discussed Yori and baseball.

Osborne would have been a horrible athletic director. Pederson has brought an excellent football coach...unfathomable recruiting talent...and a basketball coach that will make an immediate imapct in the Big 12.
He has added to the baseball success.
He has added a n excellent coach in Connie Yori.
