[Husker] Pedersen responds to Shatel

Hello Husker Fans,

  Forgive me for not posting a link.  OWH has changed the way Shatel
  related information is provided on the web (pretty much not on the
  web).

  Pedersen responded to Shatel's article on Feb 27th when he accused
  SP of being full of himself for the security detail on the Athletic
  offices.

  Since I can't post the article here (it was emailed to me from a
  reliable source, and apparently it was in the OWH), I'll summarize.
  Mike, can I post it here and give the right 'credit' or not at all?

  Pedersen basically said that part of his responsibilities include
  the safety of the student athletes and the athletic staff and he
  wasn't going to take that lightly regardless of criticism.  Students
  should be able to use the facilities in peace without worrying about
  someone just 'walking in'.

  The best part of the article (or worst if you like Shatel) was that
  the security video proved that he was only waiting for 52 seconds
  not 5 minutes like he claimed.

  He went on to say that had Shatel simply called and asked about the
  security or the media guide he was after, SP would have been happy
  to explain things and send him a media guide he needs.

  I'm not a huge Stevey apologist, but he really made Shatel look like
  an amateur on this one.  He really exposed Shatel pretty bad on this
  one and personally, I'm glad he stood up for himself.

  Even though I'm not crazy about Shatel, his articles are usually
  better than this piece of crap he put out and I'm quite glad he was
  called on it.
