I like Callahan but he has to do a heck of a lot more before I will call him 
"excellent".

Immediate impact basketball coach would probably be in the NCAA tourney this 
year ( you did say IMMEDIATE) or at least the NIT.

Name 2 things that Pederson has really done. Heck ( I'm trying really hard 
here) NAME ONE!!! Added to the baseball program??? What the heck does that 
mean?

Unfathomable talent???? Texas doesn't even do that. We have good talent. I 
can fathom it pretty easily. If half of them would pan out or not get mad 
and leave I could fathom it a little more.

Tom Osborne is an individual that has the ability to exceed at whatever he 
tries and the integrity to have people respect his decisions even if they 
end up being wrong. The best thing that could happen to NU athletics would 
be if they could get him to be the A.D. They should be begging the guy right 
now.

Seriously.... want to fix everything at NU right now and restore the full 
faith ( and pledges) of the fans??? HIRE TOM!

If we had a ridiculously stupid idiotic post of the year contest you would 
get my vote!!!!!!!

1.  I don't want to block your posts...they are your opinion and you are 
entitled to them.

Do you have issues with the administration?  Do you have issues with the 
staff, or the program?  I think that Pederson is doing a pretty good job. 
Osborne would have been a horrible athletic director.  Pederson has brought 
an excellent football coach...unfathomable recruiting talent...and a 
basketball coach that will make an immediate imapct in the Big 12.

He has added to the baseball success.
He has added a n excellent coach in Connie Yori.

NU is an excellent program in the conference.

What makes you so mad?

  Supposedly, this is from the "Touchdown Club" newsletter.  I don't know
  if it's a recent edition or from earlier in the season.  In any event,
  it's ridiculous.  I'm not sure what we're supposed to be thanking him
  for.  A lone top 25 finish?  A .595 winning percentage over the past 3
  years?  A 19-15 record against 1-A opponents?

  Even assuming he deserved major kudos, the whole notion of sending an
  athletic director a "thank you note" for doing his job seems pretty
  absurd to me.  "Thank you for actually doing your job!"  Maybe Steve, or
  whoever wrote this garbage, should wait until Nebraska actually
  accomplishes something before begging for kudos.
