[Husker] the Yankees need him this year

The front page of this morning's sports section was "Stick a fork in 'em (the Yankees)" ie, they're done, the season is over.  Followed by speculation on who they will likely keep and trade before July 31.  Joba's name was not mentioned in either category (actually, no minor-leaguers were mentioned).  I've wondered if they ought not to bring Joba to New York.  Certainly he can't do worse than Pettite, Mussina, and Clemens.
