[Husker] The Gordon watch

I was at the Royals-Angels game last night and watched the defensive play  of 
the game turned in by Alex.  In the last of the ninth with a runner at  
second and one out, Casey Kotchman hit a shot  that seemed certain to end  up in 
left field.  But Alex dove for the ball, came up with it and rifled a  perfect 
throw to first base to get Kotchman.  The next hitter, Howie  Kendrick, hit a 
routine fly ball to left field to end the game.
 
A lot of difference between runners on first and third with one out and a  
runner on third with two out.
