     I do agree with the general point of your post.  One quick thing.  
This is not a new owner.  This is the same owner, David Glass, that gave 
Allard Baird absolutely nothing to work with dollar wise.  One of the 
things Dayton Moore wanted if hired was full control and he got it along 
with more money to spend.  The Royals salary has increased $30 Mil in 
the last two years after it went down from 2004 to 2005.  Same owner.  
So really it isn't as much different people as it is a changed 
philosophy.  David Glass has been the owner since April 18, 2000.
