Sorry Greg, that was meant to be pretty heavy sarcasm.  I obviously don't
think the Royals are going to take their payroll below 20 mil.  

I keep hoping the Royals get better and start competing again.  I'm a White
Sox fan, but the Royals are definitely growing on me with Alex Gordon, David
Riske, Gil Meche, Teahan...etc

I like the team they're putting together, I'm just a little skeptical
they'll keep the prospects and not sell them off.  I hope they do, I'd love
to see the men in Blue be good again, like when I was growing up.

(IE: Carlos Beltran, Jermaine Dye, Johnny Damon, Jeff Conine just to name a
few)

Really? Considering the Royals 2007 payroll is over $67 million, that seems
unlikely.
