What makes it even better is what a quality, great kid Joba himself is.
He grew up in a family that was often pretty cash strapped with a dad
who has some well chronicled serious health issues. He is an incredibly
down to earth, genuine nice guy. He was one of the most humble guys you
will ever meet, at least when he was at Nebraska, and given his
character I don't suspect that has changed. 

With all of the negative story lines in sports the past couple of weeks,
Joba's is a story that renews my faith in sports and I wish him nothing
but continued success. There isn't anyone I can think of that has worked
harder and deserves it more.
