Racist???? you're stretching there - My comments were not intended in anyway
to insinuate that - but maybe that is in your mind - my comments were MY
OPINION as an NU fan on this list that a kid - black white orange or green -
should get a chance especially when WE don't know the facts except from the
media.. I think there are limits - not sure if we can say a blanket amount of
strikes (if he killed someone with a gun, is that one strike enough to kick
him off?) or offenses really matters. Pleading no contest means that - he
accepted the plea to accept the punishment that was offered (No jail time,
counseling etc). The DUI was pretty cut and dried - certain BAC - certain
charge. The assault - we don't really know what happened here and the part that
seemed the worst to me - the resisting police - was reduced to disturbing the
peace. So in your opinion these two strikes are enough - I respectfully
disagree and leave that up to the coaching staff with the best interest of the
kid and program in mind - they are much closer to the situation than we are.

Great, why don't you just call everyone who does not agree with you a
racist. When you talk about hanging, the term lynching comes to mind.

This list is for NU fans to post their opinions. That is what a number
of people have done.

My opinion is that an athlete gets 2 strikes and he should be out. TO
booted an All American LB, Farley, after his second DUI.

MP, plead no contest (not arguing with the charges and accepting the
punishment for them) to an assault and again for a DUI. Those are 2
separate infractions weeks apart. 2 strikes.

Andy
