Astute observers will note that Tommy's lits includes only one Husker - 
Johnny Rodgers - from the Devaney era. You might think this indicates 
that Devaney recruited only choir boys. You would be wrong. In those 
days, police and especially the media pretty much turned a blind eye to 
off-the-field incidents involving players.
