Who says that he should "unitarily loose their chance at life" or should
be compared to "Charles Manson?" You can't equate those two things with
kicking somebody off a football team. If I had gotten a DUI just a few
months after being charged with assault, I (along with most everyone
else on this list) would probably lose my job. Even if you believe that
Maurice being in the UNL program is the only chance he has to succeed at
life, it's a chance that he has to earn and continue earning until he
moves on to bigger and better things. Staying out of trouble is
obviously the first priority, and Maurice has had problems doing that.
I don't believe that discussing whether Purify should be kicked off the
team is an unreasonable discussion considering the severity of his
actions. I can definitely understand why some people want to see the
team and Maurice part ways.
