Mikel's way off.

 

The WORST thing possible that could happen to college football is a 2-loss
8th place team winning the national championship.  The VERY BEST thing about
college football is the perfection it takes to win a National Championship.

 

4 teams eliminates those that DON'T DESERVE to be there.  4 teams will still
allow for the fact that if you lose you might be done.
