Several people in management at Enron committed fraud and several other
crimes. The entire company paid for it. The whole company didn't get to go
to jail, but they certainly paid for it. That's one example. There are
tons.
It's not so odd that the actions of a few affect the many.

Let's not forget that Bhomar and Quinn were punished for their actions.
They each lost a season of eligibility, no longer get to play for
Oklahoma. While you're right that everyone can't be monitored 24/7/365,
every athletic department out there darned well better try because that's
the price of playing college football.
The stuff levied against Oklahoma isn't that much worse than they already
did to themselves.
