[personal] [Husker] Oklahoma forfeits 2005 football season; NU went 9-3?

Actually, we're 8-3 that year now (not 8-4). They didn't "Forfeit" the
games, they just vacate their wins, meaning the games didn't count.

Therefore, OU was 0-4, not 0-12 as originally thought.

I was a little upset they didn't lose some T.V. rights and Bowl rights as
well. This is OU's 6th major infraction for football (which has to be close
to an NCAA record) and the punishment seems a little soft, IMO. They should
be hit where it hurts most, the wallet.

As punishment for the Bomar car dealership case,
Oklahoma is forfeiting the entire 2005 season. They
also will have probation extended to 2010, and will
have recruiting restrictions imposed.

I guess that means Nebraska went 9-3 in 2005...
