Pavelka certainly would qualify as one that drank the Husker "Kool-Aid".  If you liked him that's fine.  As I said before I just didn't find his enthusiasm genuine at times.  I thought sometimes it was an act.

Well, here is my two cents worth. I liked Kent, i thought he was easy to 
follow as the flow of the game got going. I find it hard to follow Jim 
in the same  manner. Also there was a guy PBP guy named Ray Scott who i 
thought was very good in the time he did PBP for football. He did PBP in 
the early 80's i think. Also there was a guy here in Hastings that did 
PBP for the local sports High School and College. that i thought did  a 
good job of  of calling games  Football , Basketball and Baseball  when 
he described  a  game he was easy to follow. his name is Dave Brock. 
Skylar may remember him or heard of him. Also Fred White who called KC 
royals and big 8 , 12 Basketball games did a stint in Hastings as did A 
guy that now is on FOX Sports West.
