I second that Bob.

I've talked to a friend of mine that lives in Texas and he said that Dallas
Baptist has REALLY improved since he took over. He even won a decent amount
of games vs Div I competition in 2006 (which says a lot for the school he
came from).

He also has a lot of ties with HS coaches in Texas and California, so he
should be a valuable recruiting commodity.

Great hire by the Huskers, I'm just worried about what he'll have to work
with next year with all the pitchers we lost to the draft. In my personal
opinion, a finish in the top half of the Big XII next year will be
impressive. Our lineup stays pretty similar, but Dorn is the only solid
pitcher returning (Shirek too, but he didn't have a great season) and we
have three returning arms out of the pen with Herr, Bird, and Weber. Herr
and Bird had rough sophomore years, but they are doing very well in summer
ball and hopefully can put it together and be reliable out of the pen again
next year.

According to the credentials I have seen he's a good one.
