[Husker] Norvell, players -- NU is nothing more than a PIT STOP

Sort of.

Don't forget the early leaving of Raiola and Fonoti.

I still believe that this was the perhaps the small pea that tipped the scales of down turn in the program, at least from a "player stability" standpoint.

I know I need to "get over" it, but it still bugs me today.

So I guess I had better get used to players and coaches making NU a "pit

This is what we get when we go for the gold and end up with "furriners"
-- those without any roots or loyalty to sticking around and making it
happen IN LINCOLN.
2 years is all we get with a "Brandon Jackson." So much for roster
stability...
________

Actually, we got three years from Jackson just as we did from Ahman Green
and a couple of other running backs during Dr. Tom' reign. "Roster
stability" has never really existed except in relative terms.
