My opinion on Norvell is based quite a bit of the
opinion of my wife, who attended the first "Husker
Football 101 for Women". She came back very impressed
with Norvell in how he handled himself and how he gave
a sampling of how the new-to-NU West Coast Offense
works... much more than the rest of the staff.

I've also heard anecdotal remarks of folks who
observed how Zac Taylor progressed in 2005 under
Norvell's tutelage. Not to mention glowing reports
from just about everywhere Norvell has been
previously.

Does this make him a great coach? Hard to say,
especially since Bill Callahan was the playcaller.
Personally, I would have liked to have seen Norvell
take over that role in 2006.
