Skylar has this right. fact is, he interviewed for head coaching
positions, but he didn't get hired. Possibly one of those reasons is that
not enough people are aware of what he can do with an offense of his own.
Check one of our SBNation UCLA blogs for reaction about Norvell's hire.
Not exactly warm and fuzzy, but this site doesn't like their head coach
Karl Dorrell.

What was it about Norvell that made anyone here believe he was a good
coach? (I"m not implying that he's bad, just wondering where the
impression came from).
