For what it's worth... 

Local Baltimore sportswriter (Mike Preston) was doing another season postmortem/"what do we have to do in the offseason" type articles.  It hasn't been the first around here, believe me.  And they've all focused on the offense.  

Preston thinks the Ravens need to revamp their running game (Jamal Lewis' best years are behind him)..."we need another big back, with more speed...".  Two names came up.

Brandon Jackson was one of them.

We'll see.

This is hypothetical--but then what else is there this time of year?--but I
was thinking that Brandon Jackson could have been a Heisman hopeful next
year had he stayed on.  He was on his way to becoming a dominant runner, and
I can see him in the mold of Addai or Mike Bell when he puts on some weight.
Too bad for me I won't get to find out--and great for him he'll be able to
make some money.
