Man do I remember that game! I was so angry and frustrated, that after the third quarter ended, I turned off the game and gave up on the Huskers (then down 19-0). I went about corn harvesting in just a terrible mood, kicking everything in sight. I finally turned the game back on either just as NU was scoring the go-ahead TD, or just afterwards. I decided I would never again give up on the Huskers even when they were gettnig blown out. I also remember being very glad of that decision when years later Scott Frost engineered a 60 second 62 yard comeback against Missouri to keep NU the national title hunt in '97. At that time, I remember reminding myself not to give up because of that Colorado game in the '60's.
Incidently, you mentioned being from Ansley, I was from neighboring Litchfield and we played each other in football and basketball each year (Ansley getting the better more years than not).

Attended a couple of games at Colorado in that time
with the most memorable being a Bob Churchich engineered
comeback from 19-0 to win 21-19.
