I suppose I should come out of my lurker mode and contribute my information
for the archives.

I was born and raised in Chicago. My parents were both from Nebraska -- my
dad from a little town in the SW corner of the state called Madrid and my
mom from Ravenna. My freshman year was 1970 (my first home game was the Wake
Forest game) and I graduated from the College of Business in 1974. I've
attended three bowl games -- the '74 Cotton Bowl against Texas and two
Fiesta Bowls in the '80s (against Michigan and against Florida State).
During my time at UNL, I attended every home game and probably attended most
home games until the late '70s. My last home game was the Auburn game in '80
or '81. I've attended a few road games (Iowa State, Missouri, Kansas and
Kansas State) and have seen Nebraska play the Sun Devils twice (but,
thankfully, not the '96 game!).

After graduation, I stayed in Lincoln until I moved to Topeka, Kansas in '83
and then moved down to Scottsdale in '86. Work brought me back to the
Chicago area in 1989 where I still live today.

I'm 54 and joined the List in either '95 or '96. I'm also a White Sox fan
married to a Cub fan!
