Massachusetts (Sudbury, to be precise) - Andy Smith, age 46
Previously I lived in Maryland, Omaha NE, Cedar Rapids IA (Coe College),
Providence RI (Brown U.), New Wilmington PA, and a few other towns in MA.
I've been a Husker fan since my folks moved to Omaha in '79. My father
was fortunate enough to get tickets to the games through his job and I
fondly remember seeing Nebraska upset Bear Bryant's Alabama team as well
as watching the Huskers, led by Turner Gill, beat OU. I also remember
how the fans applauded the opposition, even when they beat the Huskers,
and how some of the biggest cheers were for players like a 2nd string
senior QB or a smallish 4th string RB when they finally got their
moments of glory in 4th quarters of lopsided victories.
