I used to post practice reports to the Husker List 3-4 times a week back
in the late 90s. I got the info from the Lincoln Journal Star and the
OWH. I had a lot more time back then. I do remember someone posting
reports that actually went to practice.

I was cleaning out my closet over the holidays and found my two
Netsurfers for Nebraska t-shirts. These shirts were coordinated through
some of us on the Husker List. For a while we actually met at Mike
Nolan's house after the Spring Game.

I'm also in my mid 40's. I joined the list around '97 while I was still
in the Air Force, and that was the only way I could get any information
on the Huskers. Funny thing is...now I'm retired from the Air Force and
the majority of my Husker information is still from this list.

I do miss some of the list members who have left. Greg Mays had great
analysis of the plays and playcalling. He was very knowledgeable on the
option. (was he also the one who kept wanting to see the "toss
sweep"???)

Another list member used to give a lot of practice information. Seems
like
he attended a lot of the practices and gave excellent reports. I would

really like to see that come back.

Like another poster mentioned, I prefer to get my information pushed to
me, rather than search for it. This list has been excellent in that
regard.
