[Husker] When I was 9 years Old

One Saturday afternoon in September 1969 my dad came
out in the back yard and watched me roll a football on
the ground, then watched as I proceeded to run after
it and dive on it with my chest and stomach.

Dad asked me what the heck I was doing.  I told him
that if I was going to play football for Nebraska, I
was going to have to learn how to recover fumbles.  

Very poignant and practical from a 9 year old don't
you think?
