I agree, Greg Mays' insights were reason enough to visit the list. I first started reading the posts back in the national championship days, and actually had a chance to go to the game at the Orange Bowl for TO's first title, but had to bail out at the last minute. I will be visiting the Orange Bowl this weekend for a minor league football game, so I guess I can pretend the Huskers are playing Sapp & co. while I'm down there!

I'm also in my mid 40's. I joined the list around '97 while I was still in
the Air Force, and that was the only way I could get any information on the
Huskers. Funny thing is...now I'm retired from the Air Force and the
majority of my Husker information is still from this list.

I do miss some of the list members who have left. Greg Mays had great
analysis of the plays and playcalling. He was very knowledgeable on the
option. (was he also the one who kept wanting to see the "toss sweep"???)

Another list member used to give a lot of practice information. Seems like
he attended a lot of the practices and gave excellent reports. I would
really like to see that come back.

Like another poster mentioned, I prefer to get my information pushed to me,
rather than search for it. This list has been excellent in that regard.
