[Husker] Meyer Comparisons?

I know comparisons can be as tiresome as analogies, but I am surprised no one has made any comparisons between coach Callahan and coach Meyer of Florida yet on the list today...
 
Wasn't Meyer one of Pederson's first choices as Solich's replacement? I'm not trying to rehash old arguments or anything, I just recall Meyer and Houston Nutt of Arkansas being "courted" by the NU AD for lack of a better word. There are a few similarities in the Florida & Nebraska situations that are worth noting (mainly because I have nothing to do at work right now).
 
I also remember Florida was in pretty rough shape with Ron Zook at the helm, before Meyer arrived. Obviously Florida will probably always have a recruiting advantage over the Nebraskas of the world, but it appears obvious now why Pederson (and many others) were so interested in hiring Meyer in the first place. I wonder if Meyer really ever considered Nebraska in the first place...it seems like Florida could be poised for a few BCS title games at this point, I only hope Nebraska will be there too.
 
Incidentally, last night was also a great example of why I never bet.
