I have a friend who has a nephew on the team and his report from his nephew is that the line never got the fake call and that is why it didn't work. When I questioned why the snap went to Todd instead of the punter he says Todd stepped in front of the punter and that is why the snap was high as it wasn't going to him. I dont have replay so can someone who does look to see if Todd steps in front or if the snap goes to him at the side. Might explain why the Auburn defender was in the back field so quick.

I didn't use the slow motion on my DVR, but I watched
the play at regular speed several times. It seems to
me the Auburn defender was very quickly into our
backfield messing up the play. It was as if he guessed
the snap count or somehow got a jump on the play.
Was Byford in on that play? Is he the long snapper? I
am not sure if Brett Byford was the center on that
play.
