My first recollection of the Skers was Paul Rodgers kicking a whole 
bunch of field goals in the '69 Sun Bowl.

My second recollection is of listening to Joe Patrick/WOW-AM Omaha do 
the play-by-play of Frosty Anderson catching a couple of long TD 
passes against Minnesota (my grandfather, Wayne Binfield, was 
Frosty's HS track coach at Scottsbluff so I thought he was pretty 
cool!).

Jim Dean on the list here is the son of the barber that gave me my 
first 50 or so haircuts in Wood River, and if anybody remembers 
former poster Greg Mays in Hastings, I believe he's the nephew of 
Glen Mays who helped us out on the farm just north of of Wood River 
when I was a kid.  Small world.
