[Husker] age

OK,

My first game was back in the ole mesozoic days when we were the 
Pteradactyls and we played the Oklahoma "Rotting Dinosaurs" aka "Oilers". 
Ole Ug Cromag dropped back to pass for the RD's, was stepped on by a 
Brontosaurus and fumbled and Grog Tugluk ran it back for a touchdown. 
Forward passes had been around for years but it was a first for upright two 
legged running....The refs had to review it several times to see if it was 
legal or not. Reviewing the footprints in the tarpit they decided it was a 
touchdown and we all tore down the goal tusks and went home and built a 
fire.

Those were the days.

I posted my age earlier but as far as recollections.......I started college 
at the University in the fall of 1961.  I had two high school buddies on the 
freshman football team under Jack Brailey...spelling.....I remember Willie 
Ross was one of the halfbacks on the football team but not too much as far 
as starters..
