It's being reported on several sites (I found it on the rivals site) that
Nebraska's 6-foot-9 sophomore forward Jim Ledsome will transfer to Delaware.

Despite the peculiarity of the timing (mid-season just before conference
play) and the fact that Ledsome started the last three games (including last
night against Western Kentucky), this shouldn't be that surprising. He wants to
transfer before the start of second semester and the hand-writing was on the
wall re: what was probably going to happen next year. In the release I saw,
Ledsome said a desire to be closer to his family played into it (he's from
Maryland). It also said that Coach Doc Sadler wished him well.

I think the number is up to 8 as far as how many new players Sadler has
recruited to come in here next year. Point guard Charles Richardson and
zone-buster Marcus Perry are the only two seniors, so you can see the
scholorship/numbers issue. To the best of my knowledge, the numbers will dictate Sadler
being able to "keep" five players off of this year's team. I'd think those
would be Aleks Maric (hopefully, he'll do the smart thing and return for his
senior year at NU), sophomore Jamel White, freshmen Sek Henry and  Ryan Anderson;
and one more (probably either freshman guard Jay-R Strowbridge or 6-foot-8
redshirt freshman Chris Balham). Freshman forward Kris Douse transfered just a
week or so ago.

Anyway, the Huskers lack of frontcourt depth just got worse. Best of luck
to Jim Ledsome.
